Neurodiversity
Organizations advancing opportunity, advocacy, independence, education, community, mental wellbeing, or family support for neurodiverse individuals.
Our giving
We look for capable organizations already doing the work, and give them room to keep doing it — while managing the Foundation so it can keep giving for generations.
Organizations advancing opportunity, advocacy, independence, education, community, mental wellbeing, or family support for neurodiverse individuals.
Organizations addressing human, community, educational, health, environmental, or other charitable needs where our support can make a practical difference.
Organizations supporting the health, wellbeing, and transition of servicemembers, veterans, and military families.
How grants are selected
The Board evaluates charitable organizations based on mission alignment, a track record of results, financial discipline, and the ability to use Foundation resources effectively.
The Umbrella Foundation does not currently operate an open grant application process. Grantmaking priorities and recipients are determined by the Board.
